22.09.07 GreenDay.com has confirmed that a new layout is coming soon and that the Idiot Club would not be canceled, but will also be undergoing a make over. Fall Out Boy played Basket Case at one of their shows. You can watch it now Tre showed up at Rock-Star Karaoke at Slideshow in Fullerton, CA.:)
22.09.07 Yesterday was was 3 anniversary of American Idiot!!! So HAPPY AMERICAN IDIOT! It’s also 50th anniversary of Grammy Award this year and www.mynightatthegrammys.com is allowing people to vote for their favorite Grammy moments. Green Day’s live performance of 'American Idiot' from the 2005 Grammys is included in the list . YOU HAVE TO VOTE!!!!GO AND VOTE!!! Larry Livermore (founder of Lookout Records) was one-third of a recent panel talking about punk's history, present and future. He mentions Green Day a few times in the discussion talking about how they've made it to the mainstream from the punk scene. They talk about Billie Joe walking up to a DJ at the end of an after party and asking him to play 'When I Come Around'. Apparently Billie Joe ended up being the only person to go out and dance on the floor, to his own music. They also mention that he was "very, very drunk".

Billie Joe and Adrienne attended the MAGIC convention fashion show last weekend to promote Adeline Street. Online merchandise retailer EBTM.com signed a deal
has with Billie Joe's clothing label, Adeline Street, to sell items online. There is a interview with Billie Joe about the Adeline Street clothing line on You Tube.

Green Day & U2 have been nominated for "Most Earth-Shattering Collaboration" at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards.

The awards will air on September 9th.
Billie Joe is shown briefly in the trailer for the upcoming punk documentary "Punk's Not Dead". According to NME, "The film is an exploration of the evolution of punk rock featuring dozens of interviews with prominent punk artists as well as rare concert footage." Green Day are mentioned to be featured alongside the Ramones, NOFX, Social Distortion, Bad Religion, Sum41, My Chemical Romance, and some other bands.
Adam Levine (from Maroon 5) mentioned Green Day's song 'Burnout' as one of his top 5 songs. The list came out in the most recent issue of Rolling Stone. Thanks to Sophia for the news and the scan.

Chocolate Rain is a strange video/song that got popular on YouTube. Green Day is trying to raise awareness of environmental issues outside Springfield as well. You can keep up with the stuff they're trying to do through the Green Day + NRDC website and their MySpace.
Matt Groening and James L. Brooks did an interview with MTV's Kurt Loder and talked about Green Day a little bit. Green Day are in the Issue 90/August 2007 edition of Big Cheese Magazine. It's a PUNK: '77-'07 Collector's Edition featuring bands such as Green Day, The Living End, and The Clash. According to haushinkapritchard on the forum, Billie Joe says "they have lots of songs but they just need to figure out how to put them together to make an album and he has no fucking clue when it will be released."
